Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Provide Meaningful Care in a Supportive, Patient-Focused Environment Family Walk-In Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Greeley, Colorado where we have served our community for 19 years. You will provide care for patients of all ages, including primary care, preventive medicine, and same-day walk-in services. Small community practice Work in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment Flexible Schedule with a four day work week and rotating Saturday morning shift 2-4 patients per hour dependent on walk-in volume and complexity Provide care across the full spectrum of family medicine—from pediatric to geriatric patients Build lasting relationships with patients and families in the community Practice with autonomy while collaborating with experienced healthcare professionals Be part of a team committed to clinical excellence and exceptional patient service Collaborate with the three existing providers Mentorship Leadership opportunities Opportunity to expand your clinical skills through a variety of office-based procedures Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care and same-day walk-in services for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions Perform preventive health examinations and wellness visits Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Order, interpret, and manage laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and work with the medical support staff to provide patient education regarding treatment plans and preventive care Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice, including procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and splinting Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation Collaborate with medical assistants, reception staff, and other providers to promote efficient patient flow and excellent patient experiences Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations Required Qualifications Experience Level considered Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current Colorado APRN license in good standing National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to employment • Current BLS certification Eligibility for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced primary care and walk-in setting Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care, or walk-in medicine DOT Medical Examiner Certification or willingness to obtain within the first six months of employment Experience performing common outpatient procedures Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to perform routine clinical procedures Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to use computers and electronic medical record systems throughout the workday If you are looking for an opportunity where your expertise is valued, your clinical judgment matters, and your work directly improves the lives of patients, we invite you to apply today.
